The FC ShoCase is an ultra-compact van with a clever next-generation liquid fuel-cell system that uses no rare metals in its construction, meaning it is cheaper to produce and also lighter than other units.
Access to the inside of the ShoCase is via a neat top-hinged side door with a flip-down step and all of its drivetrain components are under the see-through flat floor.
Inside, the van’s seats – and even its steering wheel – can be folded down to liberate a fully flat space for storing or lugging larger items, or maybe even throwing a mattress down on a camping trip.
It looks as though you’d be entertained, too, with a huge screen mounted on the fixed side of the van.
Cosmetically, the FC ShoCase is quite unlike anything we’ve seen before – well, anything that isn’t a bus, or a toaster or shoebox, that is.
