San Diegans will have a new option of transportation in the near future now that the city has agreed to partner in the nation’s first all-electric car sharing program.
Car2Go will make available 300 two-seater Smart Fortwo cars at various reserved parking spaces in the downtown area of the city.

3,454 new, permanent green jobs were directly created under the federal green-tech program. The Obama administration had promised that the $38.6 billion loan guarantee program would create or save 65,000 job.
