The “sun-inspired” home incorporates more than just the heat from the sun — it also incorporates the light from the sun.
 
 
Architect Debra Rucker Coleman reported;   constructing a sun-inspired home begins with a thorough planning process, and choosing or developing a house plan is one of the first steps along that path.  Solar panels are a component of the “sun-inspired” home but other energy-saving designs are also incorporated into the plans.

How do You Know the Products you are Buying are Really GREEN

It seems that many companies are claiming they are green but how does the consumer know for sure that the products that are labeled sustainable are true. 

Recently the Federal Trade commission (FTC) has begun to create guidelines and have released Green Guides to help marketers avoid making environmental claims that are false.

The Green Guide breaks down guidelines in this manner: biodegradable, compostable, recyclable, recycled content and ozone safe.
